2025 Annual Tree Trimming
Posted By rhart on May 7, 2025
The Board has approved Vargas Tree Service to complete the 2025 annual tree trimming. The trimming will include all of the park trees, all of the pepper trees on the Association-maintained slopes, and all the
miscellaneous trees that are not eucalyptus or carrotwood trees. The project began March and should be
finished by the end of June.
If you would like to request that a tree be trimmed outside of its regular schedule or that a tree be removed because of aesthetic/view issues, please complete the Tree Trimming and Removal Request Form, which can be downloaded on the Resident Portal at resident.actionlife.com in the “Forms” section. The completed Request Form should be sent to Management so it can be reviewed by the Board at the next meeting. Management will then advise the owner of the Board’s decision and, if approved, provide directions on where to submit payment for the removal work so it can be coordinated.
Please note that the Association will only pay for a tree to be removed if it is dead, dying or potentially hazardous. If you believe that a tree that is maintained by the Association meets this criteria, please send a work order to Action Property Management. When the Association receives a request from a homeowner regarding tree removal, the Association’s arborist reviews the tree and makes a recommendation based on their expert opinion and a report on the tree’s health and stability. If the arborist confirms that the tree is tree is dead, dying and/or hazardous, the Board will review a proposal to remove it at their next meeting. If a tree is healthy, stable and determined to be low risk by the arborist, the homeowner will be advised of the Board’s decision.
