Slope Maintenance Easements

There are several areas throughout the community where the homeowner owns the property on the slope located behind the property, but the Association has a maintenance easement and is obligated to maintain the area. These areas are denoted on a site map that can be found on the Resident Portal in the Maps section.

It has been observed that homeowners have made modifications to these areas without Association approval. This is problematic, as some improvements can compromise the integrity of the slopes and potentially cause slope failure.

Please be reminded that no modifications are to be made to the Association-maintained easement areas. Making modifications to these areas without approval can result in a violation notice being sent, subject the owner to fines, and potentially having the owner remove the modifications and restoring the area to Association standards at their cost.
