Adoption of Revised Architectural Guidelines and Architectural Review Application

At the July 7, 2020 Board meeting, the Board adopted the proposed revisions to the existing Architectural Guidelines, which were sent to the community for the required comment period in May. The proposed revisions include the addition of a “Notice of Completion” requirement and sections addressing Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) and Junior Accessory Dwelling Units (JADUs). The guidelines are now in effect.
The Board of Directors also adopted a revised Architectural Review Application at the July 7, 2020 Board meeting. The revised application includes the new Notice of Completion requirement and has been updated into a clearer, more user friendly format.
Both documents can be viewed and downloaded at any time in the “Architectural and Paint Schemes” section of the Resident Portal at resident.actionlife.com. Please make sure to use the updated Architectural Review Application when preparing to submit an application for proposed improvements to the Association.
Please be reminded that any changes to the exterior of the property need to be reviewed and approved in advance by the Association’s Architectural Review Committee. Failure to obtain the proper approvals prior to beginning improvements will result in a $500.00 fine being assessed to the homeowner’s account.
